Reflect….to think deeply about something…to cogitate…reason…speculate…deliberate…. or simply the often shimmering, delicate image of a scene reflected in water…… perhaps an intriguing or distorted view reflected in a shop window or just seeing ourselves in the mirror each day.
Both global and personal events over the last few years have given members of HapticArt the opportunity and perhaps the need to reflect on their own lives, their families, the environment and the world that we live in. As artists this process inevitably feeds into our work and who we are.
HapticArt have exhibited together for many years and encouraged each other to develop and move forward in our work whether in textiles, paint or mixed media.
